Volkswagen Golf R – New Car Protection & CQuartz Leather & CQuartz Fabric
First off, this has to be one of the nicest blues I have ever seen in all my years of detailing! From every angle, it’s just beautiful.
This Golf R owner contacted us prior to taking delivery. He wanted something for every aspect of his vehicle, so we delivered a proposed package to meet his needs. After he installed paint protection film on the high traffic areas, we performed a thorough decontamination of the paint, windows, and wheels, followed by a corrective high speed polish to remove the light swirl marks from poor handling by the factory or dealer. Following this, we applied 2 heavy coats of CQuartz Finest on all painted surfaces, followed by CarPro DLUX on the wheels, trims, plastics, headlights and tail lights, and FlyByForte on all windows, including 3 layers on the front windshield. This coating makes the glass surfaces extremely hydrophobic, to enhance visibility in inclement weather.
We also applied 2 coats of CQuartz Leather coating on all leather surfaces. This coating protects the leather from stains and dye transfer. By using a damp cloth to wipe the seats down, maintenance also becomes a breeze. In addition, we also protected all fabrics with CQuartz Fabric. This stellar treatment makes the fibres hydrophobic, so as to resist stains and make cleaning much easier.
We had this client come in 30 days after the detail for a complimentary follow up wash. The car was nearly spotless, with only a fine layer of dust. A testament to the self-cleaning ability of CQuartz Finest.
